	Cordis

	Cordis is an R&#38;amp;D project exploring how heart-rate data could become part of music, motion, storytelling and visual identity. The project uses biometric input as a creative material, testing how a person’s pulse might influence sound, rhythm, colour, movement and atmosphere.

The work exists as a playable prototype, but the broader interest is in what this kind of data could become. Heart rate, recovery, sleep, movement and training are usually translated into graphs, scores and dashboards. Cordis asks whether those signals could also become something more emotional: a way to shape a piece of music, shift the mood of a visual system, or become part of a wider design language.

Each pulse can trigger notes from an acoustic piano recorded at home, while also affecting the behaviour of the visuals. Some experiments explore colour as a biometric signal, with lower heart-rate zones moving through cooler blues and greens, and higher zones shifting toward warmer oranges and reds.The project also points toward more speculative ideas around music, presence and responsive identity systems: an album that unfolds through your own heart-rate data, a shared composition shaped by two bodies in different places, or a brand world that behaves less like a fixed set of assets and more like something people help activate.


The visual language draws from medical imagery, ultrasound scans, cardiac imaging and colour Doppler systems. These references are built for clarity and diagnosis rather than expression, which gives them a strange kind of sincerity. Cordis is informed by that accidental beauty, reworking it into a softer and more emotional audio-visual language.

Cordis is not a finished product or health tool. It is a working sketch, a way of testing how biological data might be used to tell stories, shape interaction and become part of a responsive design system.&#38;nbsp;

	Future Classic: Recomposed

	Future Classic: Recomposed is an audio-visual project that reimagines eight standout songs from the label's catalog as ambient and classical compositions. Future Classic is an award-winning independent music label, artist management team, and touring agency with offices in LA and Sydney. The project encompasses a visual campaign that offers both still and animated images for each song, capturing the essence of the recomposition concept. The visual side of the project is conceived as both a social and branding initiative, encompassing a wide range of assets and applications. At its core is a collectible double gatefold vinyl, with printed inner sleeves. Available on all good listening platforms.Growing up, I spent hours at my mum's record player, captivated by the vinyls. The turntable's spin and the delicate dance of the needle fascinated me. I cherished the moment of sliding a record from its sleeve, always mindful of my mum's warnings about the fragility of the vinyl and needle. The LP's sleeves, often featuring gatefolds or foldouts, captivated me and were instrumental in sparking my love for the physical aspects of music. This sentiment inspired my approach to this project.

	Josh Hooke
	For the release of Josh Hooke's latest album, a new visual identity was developed to capture the intensity and energy of his performances.&#38;nbsp;The goal was to create a brand that is accessible, bold, and understated, reflecting the contrast between Josh’s calm demeanor off stage and the emotional intensity, flamboyance, and passion of his performances. Reflecting the three artists, the rule of thirds served as a guiding principle for all design choices throughout the campaign.

Additionally, a comprehensive branding guideline was developed for venues and media, ensuring consistent and effective representation of Josh’s brand across all platforms.

	This case study documents audio work developed with YouTube Creative Studio as part of YouTube’s recent rebrand. Across two engagements, I worked on the sonic layer surrounding the rebrand, spanning early system exploration and final delivery. This included exploring how a unified audio approach could extend across different parts of the YouTube ecosystem, alongside leading the complete audio production for the official rebrand case study film.


A key focus was developing and testing how a flexible, scalable sonic framework could support a global product ecosystem, balancing consistency with the ability to adapt across different contexts, formats, and expressions.


The work brought together composition, sound design, and voice direction, delivered end to end in collaboration with YouTube’s brand, motion, and production teams. The aim was a cohesive, emotionally legible audio world that feels alive and dynamic, shaped by YouTube’s layered content culture.

	All Things Considered
	Commissioned by 823 Records and creative agency Pretty–Soon®, I created the visual language for the compilation All Things Considered, a collaborative series of curated compilations. The project features a full social media campaign, vinyl product, and an extensive list of still and motion content including single artworks, visualisers, posters, Spotify Canvases and more.The brief from Pretty–Soon® requested a product that was both vibrant and modern. To meet this, I employed an experimental AI technique, creating layers upon layers of video content and overlapping them. Stills were extracted from the motion elements, scaled up, and layered again. This process was repeated multiple times to craft the final textures.

	EMPTY MAPS


	Empty Maps is an audio-visual project built around a 13-track piano record. At its centre is a 180g vinyl — a keystone object that carries both the music and the story. The album explores themes of connection, isolation, and family lineage, using piano as a way to communicate when language fell short.


Each track is a chapter in a broader narrative, tracing a personal shift from one version of self to another. This extends into the visual design: a cover made from layered family artifacts, scanned documents, and personal fragments arranged in chaotic form, contrasted by an insert that brings those same elements into quiet alignment.


Together, the sound and visuals create a dialogue — between past and present, disorder and clarity — quietly marking a sense of before and after.

	Google
	Developed in collaboration with Google’s internal production team and agency partners, this project focused on the musical and sonic storytelling for Google’s Super Bowl halftime film, centred on an emotional narrative around Google’s veterans tool. The work approached the piece as a score-led story rather than a traditional advertisement.


The role spanned composition, sound design, and final mix, with an emphasis on restraint, pacing, and emotional continuity. Sound was used to support the human story at the centre of the film, allowing the message to unfold naturally without drawing attention to the mechanics of the work.
